Most Tiffany Torsade necklaces consist of freshwater pearls. But these are very special – Akoya cultured pearls. Akoya pearls, from Akoya Oysters, the world's smallest pearl producing oyster, were first cultured in 1893.

This necklace is in truly fabulous condition; it has not been worn since purchase. The absolutely perfect pearls range from 2.8 to 6.0 mm in size.
